We want to accompany people and companies in a world that is becoming ever more dynamic and flexible – offering solutions that are more than just a desk with Wi-Fi.

Our vision goes far beyond the classic idea of "working while on holiday". We want to be the driving force for workations and flexible working models worldwide – approachable, connected and carried by a community that thinks globally and acts locally.
We dream of a Europe in which rural areas are no longer "left behind" but are magnets for creativity, talent and innovation. Regions become places of the future where work, leisure and community are in harmony.
Our vision is also a sustainable one: we use existing resources, connect tourism with new work and thus create a model that works economically, ecologically and socially. In the long term, we want not only to be active at 130 locations across Europe, but to build a worldwide network that connects cities and regions more closely and makes a new way of working the norm.
Project Bay began in 2020 on the island of Rügen – where founders Hannes and Toni spent their childhood and where the idea of reconnecting work and life was born. They realized how hard it is to pursue professional dreams in the countryside, and at the same time how much potential these regions hold: nature, quality of life, space for creativity.
Out of this tension grew an experiment that quickly turned into a movement. Today Project Bay runs more than 20 locations in Germany and across Europe – from the Baltic Sea to Mallorca.
Our story is about more than growth: it shows that work doesn't have to be tied to grey offices, but can take place in regions that offer inspiration, quality of life and community.
