Location / Directions to Lietzow Bay

Thanks to the central location of the CoWorking-Living-Space Project Bay in the heart of the Baltic Sea island of Rügen, there are various travel options from all over Germany. The village of Lietzow is connected to the federal road B96, which runs across all of Rügen and allows a quick journey by car from Stralsund onwards. The Hanseatic city of Stralsund is optimally connected to the nationwide motorway network via the feeder road and ensures a fast connection.

The coworking space has a train station 500m away which, in addition to connections to regional spots like Bergen, Stralsund, Binz and Sassnitz, also connects the village with Berlin and Hamburg. With just one change you can travel from the big city straight to the sea. Getting here is therefore not only easy for guests from Berlin and Hamburg. Project Bay can also be reached super easily from other directions such as Munich, Düsseldorf, Cologne or Leipzig.

Thanks to the coworking-living space's optimal connection to the transport network, it is possible to reach one of the larger towns or other seaside resorts of the island of Rügen roughly every 20 minutes.

It's just 8 minutes by train to Bergen, the island's district town. Besides a variety of large supermarkets, the town also offers its own cinema, an open-air stage for concerts and many other sights.

For those who would rather head to the finest and most beautiful sandy beach on the German Baltic coast, the train takes you to the island's probably best-known seaside resort, Binz, in 14 minutes. The spa town not only offers a unique white sandy beach, but alongside its appealing resort architecture of beach houses and free-standing villas also a long promenade for strolling and dining by the Baltic Sea. The town centre also offers a variety of small boutiques,  artists' shops, supermarkets and restaurants of all kinds.

Of course, it is also possible to rent e-bikes, e-mopeds or e-scooters at Project Bay to explore Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania's most beautiful island on your own. Via Rügen's well-developed cycle path network you can visit the Jasmund National Park with its breathtaking chalk cliffs, take a trip to the Adlerhorst to get a spectacular view over the entire island, or go swimming at the beaches of the Mönchgut peninsula.
