Advantages of the community workshop

A wide range of machines

No matter what you want to work on, create or assemble, we have the machines for it. A constantly growing pool of machines is planned for the areas of 3D printing, wood, metal, textiles and electrical engineering. Just take a look at our plans further down.

Workshops/Events

You need help with specific topics or manufacturing processes? No problem, we offer workshops and events on all topics and all machines of the makerspace – and much more beyond that. The advantage here is the attached coworking space with a broad range of trainings and workshops on many other topics.

Like-minded people and idea givers

The great thing about a community workshop is the contact with other makers. You can exchange ideas on all kinds of topics and everyone can benefit from each other's expertise and knowledge. It wouldn't be the first time that a groundbreaking idea emerged over a coffee chat in the makerspace.

New technologies and processes

New technologies in particular enable us to think differently and find answers to problems we couldn't solve before. For example, the field of additive manufacturing is more accessible to everyone today thanks to 3D printing. Especially through software support for traditional machines such as CNC and laser cutting, these manufacturing methods are more easily and efficiently accessible to everyone.

No long lease commitment

Just the way you need it – that's the motto of a makerspace. If your project only lasts 3 months, you don't need to rent a workshop for 2 years, but only for the time you spend in the makerspace.

The pass is personal.

10-Day Pass

10 freely selectable days of work in the Maker Space.
The 10-day pass is personal and must be purchased in advance.

Monthly Pass: Standard

150 EUR*

1 month of work in the Maker Space – cancellable monthly from the 3rd month
The pass is personal.

Monthly Pass: Professional ²

250 EUR*

1 month of work in the Maker Space – cancellable monthly from the 3rd month
The pass is company-bound – limited to one person at a time.
Available for companies with fewer than 10 employees; otherwise an individual offer will be prepared.

To get started quickly and make the maker space experience tangible, we are starting in the workshops of the vocational school in Sassnitz and, once the preparation work is finished, plan to finally move to Lietzow into the Project Bay building.
